Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades
Departure in the morning from your riad. We cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass and visit the fortified kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. After lunch, Ouarzazate, the Skoura oasis and the Valley of the Roses before the Dades gorges.
☾ Night in the Dades gorges - D2
Dades – Todra gorge – Merzouga
After breakfast we visit the Todra palm grove and the great canyon of the Todra gorge, then continue to the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
☾ Night in Merzouga - D3
Dunes tour – Khamlia – Merzouga
A full day in the desert. At sunset the camels take you into the dunes to our camp: tea, nomad dinner and a night under the stars.

Merzouga – Ziz valley – cedar forest – Fes
Sunrise over the dunes, camel ride back and breakfast. Then the Tafilalet palm grove, the souk of Rissani, the Ziz valley, Midelt and Ifrane, with the cedar forest and monkeys of Azrou. Mid-afternoon arrival in Fes.

An amazing desert experience not to be forgotten. Such a luxury experience in the middle of the Sahara: great tents, great service, great food and the view. The sunset camel ride was amazing and the sunrise from the camp was great.

Where do you pick us up?
At your riad or hotel in the start city. If your riad is inside the medina, we meet you at the nearest place a car can reach.
Which night is in your camp?
The desert night is always at Camel Trips Luxury Camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, in a private tent with bathroom.
Can we add a night or an activity?
Yes – an extra night in the desert, quad, buggy, sandboarding or a 4x4 tour. Ask us on WhatsApp.
