DAY 1: MARRAKESH – HIGH ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES

in 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes Departure from Marrakech in the morning (Riad or Airport) towards the Dades Gorges, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains where we will enjoy the extraordinary landscapes that these mountains offer us, the colors change from orange to green, the shoulders of the roads occupied by vendors and a landscape worth seeing, we will cross the mountain pass Tizi’n Tichka, the highest point of this route with 2,280 meters high. Our journey through the mountains will continue towards Ouarzazate; along the way we will see kasbahs, sets of authentic adobe houses, we will arrive at Aït Benhaddou (declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco), this fortified kasbah was inhabited by the tribe of Ben Haddou until it began to deteriorate, it was when Unesco helped to rehabilitate much of it. Aït Benhaddou is a majestic sand-colored fortification, its interior looks like the set of a movie and it is impressive to wander through it. Its citadel is tiny and consists of narrow cobbled streets and narrow streets that are ascending to reach the top of the fortification, where there are splendid views with the shades of the mountains are red and parched. DAY 2 – DADES – TODRA GORGE – DESERT

Today after a good traditional Moroccan breakfast we will head towards the desert of Merzouga, we will pass through the Todra palm grove where we will stop to visit it, a large palm grove with its kasbahs and its typical villages of abode, where the river runs through the Todra oasis and on its banks grow palm trees full of dates, olive trees and various crops. Our route continues to the impressive gorge of the Todra Gorges, an obligatory stop to contemplate the great canyon, formed by red limestone rock of vertical walls and where the last 600 meters of the gorge are the most spectacular, the canyon narrows and becomes a width of about 10 meters and 160 meters high, a paradise of stone where it houses a river of crystal clear water and its picturesque atmosphere makes it a must stop, we will arrive at the foot of Erg Chebbi where we will spend the night at hotel in merzouga 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes.

DAY 3 : DESERT – DUNES TOUR – KHAMLIA – MERZOUGA

Today and after breakfast we will enter the desert, an extension of about 30 km long by about 6 km wide where there is only sand and villages and where we will know how and where the Berber people of the desert live, their culture, their traditions and their kindness.   We will enjoy a full day in the desert, at sunset the camels will be waiting for us to contemplate the sunset where the yellow tones become ocher and orange intense leaving behind the day, we will spend the night in the desert under the blanket of stars that when you look at them you are mesmerized in warm and sandy dreams, there will be waiting for us to spend an unforgettable night: tea, nomadic dinner surrounded by the idyllic silence and the sweet lines of the dunes.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – CEDAR FOREST – FEZ

We will get up early in the morning to admire the sunrise, with the light of dawn the desert sand takes a spectacular reddish color and as the sun rises, the color is more yellowish. Back with our camels to take a shower, have breakfast and continue our route. Already on route we will head towards the Palm Grove of Tafilalet, the largest palm grove in the world, with about 800. 000 date palms, we will continue to Rissani very famous for its market, this city shows with dignity and is proud to be the last commercial stop before the desert, the atmosphere that you breathe walking through the souks of Rissani is not found anywhere else in Morocco, a gloom due to the roofs that filter the sun’s rays, an explosion of colors and smells that stand out to the combination of spices so well known. Our route will continue towards Fez passing through the beautiful Ziz Valley a magical place where life takes on expression thanks to its people, its palm trees and their way of life that reminds us of the pure life in nature, along the way we can go observing many kasbahs that are now in ruins but are still preserved in more or less in good condition, we will continue towards Midelt famous for its mineral mines, We will arrive at Ifrane where we will find ourselves in a European village in the Alps, green, lush and fresh built by the French elite to their liking, we will continue as not too far away only a few km we will find the legendary forest of Cedars of Arzou where the singing of birds and the attentive and curious look of the Berber monkeys that inhabit the forest will not stop looking at you. The Ifrane National Park is the largest in Morocco and we can contemplate the incredible Atlas Cedars trees with more than 100 years, grandiose, majestic and imposing oaks darken the road creating a mysterious atmosphere and the Gouraud Cedar, the most famous of the Atlas for its imposing antiquity.
