Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades
Pick-up at your hotel at 8 am. We cross the Atlas range and visit the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, with lunch there. Then Ouarzazate, where films like Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy were made, and on to the Dades valley.
☾ Night in a guesthouse in the Dades valley - D2
Dades – Todra gorges – Merzouga
After breakfast we drive through Berber villages, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud, the start of the Tafilalet oasis. In Merzouga your guide and camels are waiting: ride at sunset across the dunes to our camp, with drums and dinner in the Sahara.

Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Sunrise from the top of the dunes, camel ride back and breakfast. Then we head north through the Ziz valley, Midelt and the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas with its Barbary monkeys. Late afternoon arrival in Fes.

An amazing desert experience not to be forgotten. Such a luxury experience in the middle of the Sahara: great tents, great service, great food and the view. The sunset camel ride was amazing and the sunrise from the camp was great.

Yes. Every tour is private: only you and your group, with your own driver-guide. We can adapt the route and the dates to you.
Where do you pick us up?
At your riad or hotel in the start city. If your riad is inside the medina, we meet you at the nearest place a car can reach.
Which night is in your camp?
The desert night is always at Camel Trips Luxury Camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, in a private tent with bathroom.
Can we add a night or an activity?
Yes – an extra night in the desert, quad, buggy, sandboarding or a 4x4 tour. Ask us on WhatsApp.
