Customer reviews
Real reviews from guests who stayed with us.
An amazing desert experience not to be forgotten. Such a luxury experience in the middle of the Sahara: great tents, great service, great food and the view. The sunset camel ride was amazing and the sunrise from the camp was great.
✓ Guest of Camel Trips Luxury CampFour of us stayed in the camp for 2 days. We felt very welcome and safe since the moment we arrived, and our hosts were extremely attentive. We rode camels, tried sandboarding, listened to (and tried to play) Berber music, watched sunrise, sunset and the stars. Very recommended!
✓ Guest of Camel Trips Luxury CampThe staff was so entertaining! We enjoyed riding the camel and experienced the dunes fully, thanks to our guide! We want to go back with our kids and stay longer soon! They made our night fun and memorable!
✓ Guest of Camel Trips Luxury CampWe have spent the night in Camel Trips Luxury Camp and the camp is very good, with private bathroom and shower, and the people are very good. The food is very good and the camel ride is what I liked most on this trip.
✓ Guest of Camel Trips Luxury CampFrequently asked questions
How fit do I need to be?
You should be used to walking several hours a day. Walking on sand is harder than on a path, so the guide adapts the pace and the distance to your group.
Do we sleep in the desert every night?
No – every evening you come back to our camp and sleep in your private tent with bathroom, hot shower and a real bed.
How many kilometres do we walk?
Usually between 15 and 20 km a day. The guide can make the route shorter or longer.
What is the best season for trekking?
From October to April. In summer it is too hot to walk long distances in the desert.
Can we do more or fewer nights?
Yes – we have trekking stays from 3 to 8 nights. Ask us on WhatsApp.
