October to April: the best season
Warm sunny days, cool evenings and clear skies: this is the most pleasant time for camel rides, trekking and nights in the dunes.
Winter (December to February)
Days are usually sunny with around 18 to 20 °C, but nights are cold and can be close to 0 °C. Our tents have warm blankets – bring a warm jacket for the evening.
Spring (March to May)
Pleasant temperatures and long days. Spring can bring wind and some sandstorms, so keep a scarf with you.
Summer (June to September)
Very hot, often 40 to 45 °C in the afternoon. Activities are planned early in the morning and in the evening, and the nights under the stars are warm and magical.
Holidays and busy dates
Christmas, New Year and Easter are very popular. If you travel on these dates, book your tent and your tour early.
